Cupcake teacosy- finished! and some more jewellery :)

Hi guys,

A couple of days ago I finished the cupcake tea cosy I blogged about that I was making for my dad :) As usual  I couldn't wait to give it to him so I gave it to him that day! He really liked it so I was pleased. He said it was good because it was big enough to fit over all of the different tea post he has. Here it is on one of them :P:

I enjoyed making the pom pom, hehe I think it is one of the biggest Ive made to date :-) I only usually make mini ones to go on the innocent smoothie hats at Christmas.

After recently discovering pop tabs being used in crochet and making my pop tab bracelet tutorial it made me want to try and experiment with other things I hadn't ever thought of using in my crafting before. This lead me to come up with my newest design- Crochet paperclip jewellery! :D

My dad had a whole massive box of  paperclips in different colours and size I started taking  them all out and I came up with the  rainbow coloured necklace and bracelet design above :) I will definitely keep look out for more things to use and try different versions of my paperclip jewellery too as I think It worked out quite effective! :o)

I hope you are all having a  nice week! Tomorrow is my Birthday so I am sssssuuuuupppppppeeeeerrrrrrrrrr excited!!!! I will be sure to post a picture of my cake which is currently being hidden in the dining room so I'm not allowed in there till tomorrow :D

Hehehe, see  you all soon,

I love self striping yarn :)

Hi everyone,

I am back home now and when I got back I wanted to start a new project as for once I had been quite good recently and managed to finish some (rather than start about a 100 and finish 2 like I normally do!!! :-) I thought something for summer would be good so I had a rummage in my yarn box to find some yarn for inspiration and found these two balls I picked up aggggeesss ago when I was in Cornwall and I had an idea a mini colourful bolero:

Here is what Ihave knitted up so far, I love all the colours :D I am switching between the light and dark ball every 10 rows so I get a kind of even theme going all the way through. The yarn is soo fun just watching the pretty stripes and patterns appear :o)

It is a bit difficult to explain how I am going to turn this into a bolero but hopefully it will work out, it's just and idea I had when I looked at the wool :) I can tell you it will have some kind of a crochet border (when I finally decide which one! :P)

I will keep you all updated on my progress!

I hope you all had a nice weekend :)

See you all soon,

Bye! xxx

Super stars! (*o*)

Yo People!

Do you remember the mixed pastel coloured yarn I got sent by a swap partner? If not here it is :0)

Well it inspired me to create these...

They are quite quick and easy and I think they are quite cute :3
My friends birthday is coming up soon and she is having her party at Thorpe Park!!!! Soo exciting!!!

She is very lively and energetic and quite funky and I wanted to make her something special, So.... I thought I would use my new pattern to make her a bright rainbow star scarf. I've made nearly half of the stars:

I have still gotta make the blue ones, purple ones, pink ones etc.. and then I'm going to sew them all in a row :-)

Hopefully she will like it, then I want to get on and make myself one!

See you all soon,
