I am gradually getting able to get my head around stuff now, which is good :P I am finding myself having a little bit more time as I am doing less running around faffing trying to remember everything I need to do like washing, tidying and cooking on top of uni- which sounds utterly ridiculous if you are used to doing all that stuff normally (like most people :P) and don't think about remembering to do it you just do! Hahaha oh well I will eventually become a fully fledged but I am pleased I don't have to remember paying different bills and taking kids to school etc... just yet :-P
My lectures/lessons are really good, I am enjoying them all really though especially the sewing ones!(I do theatre history/performance analysis too for some lectures to give us all extra knowledge).
Last week we did lots of little samples and this week we have been doing basic pattern cutting and draping on the stand- Yay :D I have been waiting for ages to be taught how to do it properly. (I have tried at home but things always happen like it comes out a bit big etc... and you wonder why :P)
Here is a few shots of my bodice draping (my side is on the right/the main side in the pictures :):
Oooooh it is so fun!
Our first project coming up soon which we complete just before Christmas is a mini half scale kimono- I am really looking forward to that too :-)
I hope you are all having a lovely week and keep your eyes peeled on the blog as I am planning a Halloween giveaway soon now we have reached the fun month of October!
See you soon,
Byeeeee my lovely friends xxx
